pe2kw.com Meteo Station Den Haag

As you know the METEO station wasdown due to a HD crash, a new HD has been arrived but it seems to be my CDR was also f*cked up, it is impossible to install an OS on the system. 3 weeks ago i became another CDR and all worked well.

After 3 weeks of operation the PC stopped by itself and it is impossible to get hem up and running again

Due to the costs of this all I think the station wuill be discontinued. 

I am very sorry for this ....

Since I was young I was interested with all kind of things which were related to scientific and meteo / weather phenomenals. Later I saw you could combine the meteo interests with the other hobby 'Radio'  to connect a meteo station trough an APRS (Amateur Positioning Radio System) and the internet. I bought a small weather station from Lacrosse, the WS 3505 and combined it with a special software (Virtual Weather Station) on a separate PC for the METEO and APRS station. 

The results of the measurement from the meteo station will be transmitted trought the air interface at 144.800 Mhz APRS with a Condor 16  TRX (Bosch/Ascom) and at the internet via APRS and Wunderground.
